Restaurant “Vezilka”

Restaurant Vezilka is the largest project for Metatet studio so far. It was built in a record time (9 months) from the foundation to the last detail on the opening. On the main entrance there is a part for photographing and on the summer terrace and a space for dancing, space for the band and a summer bar. Inside there is a kitchen with full equipment, a warehouse, small winter restaurant, toilets with an entrance for washing hands only and a private toilet for the bride only. All the rooms in this object are accessible for people with disabilities.
The restaurant has a parking space for 100 vehicles and a service street around the whole area.
Also there is a green area around the summer terrace and around the whole parking space.
The architect had the complete freedom to design the whole image of the object in coordination with the owner. The inspiration was the image of the interior and the exterior to be all about the traditional Macedonian embroidery, so as the name. The specially designed logo is discreetly implemented on some details like the dance floor, the tiles in the mini bar in the closed part of the restaurant, the wallpapers and, floor in the toilets and on the main entrance. In the winter restaurant on the central wall there is a written verse of the poem “Vezilka” by Blaze Koneski by a professional calligrapher.
The summer restaurant Vezilka is so special as it is because of the tensile structure with which it is covered. This is the first construction from this type in Macedonia and it is built in coordination with foreign firm for tensile architecture. The inspiration for the design was the first wedding dance.
